During my last ski trip, I started having bruises around the inside part of both my ankles. (Specially after hiking, walking or traversing.)
I visited 2 boot fitters while in BC, and both examined my feet and boots and came with the same conclusion: My boots are the right size for me, but I do have an Overpronation. (Which explains the way most my shoes soles deteriorate faster in the inside part)
I was told that the best thing to do, would be a personalized foot bed, that would also improve a lot my skiing.
Since it would take more than 24 hours and I was in a road trip, I haven’t done the foot bed…
Now I’m back in Brazil and considering a ski trip to Chile next August. We don’t have skiing or boot fitters here, so I’m considering doing a foot bed in one of these specialized foot shops, where they do foot beds for runners and other Athletes…
Would it be worth it?
Is a foot bed done by a boot fitter the same thing as a foot bed done by a runner specialist? (in case both are heat moldable)
