Too bad the mountain closed yesterday.

A big "amen" from the peanut gallery, iWill.

There is a bright side though  smile.gif  !  Crystal reopens Thursday for the weekend and adding up the low side of the forecast there should be at least 18" of untracked waiting up there when the lifts start turning again.  That should be an okay thing for almost May.

Looking good here in the Inland NW too.

Silver Mt shows cooler temps and snow everyday this week. Might be another good Saturday..

Argh!  I've taken the box off the top of my car and stored the ski stuff to help get my head into a new gear.  But my skis fit inside the car and all I have to do is grab the other stuff off of the shelf, so who knows?

And to top it all off, Grahams is closing for good next weekend. I might have to hike some turns later in the week, then go in for a last plate of the best fish tacos around.

And here I was looking forward to kicking off the road biking season this week.

Come down here to Mt Hood - the lifts are still turning (last midweek though for Meadows) and the snow is still falling :D Looking into nice Saturday's pond skim contest (only as a bystander though).

Was there on Friday wit my son, he didn't seem to have any fun:
