In Wyoming I tried the nastiness drink ever

After 3 days of driving we got to ski 13inches of powder at the Bird.

Happy stowe instructors

happy because we got to ski 13 inches of new with lines that werent long all day

Baldy was IMO the best run of the day.

but South Chute was skiing nice as well

Day 1 bob we will be here for a about 20 days then hit A basin on the way back.

driving

Gas - 600

lodging for one night -  60

660 bucks total

flying for 2 people

plane tickets - 1200

parking at airport  for 3 weeks - 300

SUV car rental for 3 weeks - 840

flying would be 2340 dollars we saved roughly 1680 dollars by driving.

Also I couldnt possible carry 4 pairs of skis on the plane with me, let alone clothes/gear for 3 weeks of skiing. There is no chance of lost gear while driving, compared to flying were people lose their gear all the time. I also will never have to leave a day before a storm is coming because my car leaves SLC whenever I want.

Put it like this my and my buddy erik will do 3 weeks in SLC for about 1500 bucksfor everything  travel, tickets, food .

it snowed another 3 inches today. I love it when the bird puts some BS number out there.

Team Stowe/Vermont was out in full force today. Ski the East....well untill the lifts stop running and we have no more powder

3 days and nearly every run had some sort of untracked snow. The bird does not suck, never has and never will but Alta is better;).

about 2 pm and its dropped 5 inches of snow in 2 hours. still some light snow showers.

yep I am in the yellow jacket. What skis was I on?

BTW there are alot of Yellow Higgin jackets at the bird. If you see me again say Hi. Neon green krypton boot, Black Flylow pants, stowe stickers on my helmet. Skiing Katana, Thugs, Ones, or bushwackers.
