Whatever you have.   Utility knife, shears, Dremel, Foredom hand piece.

Come back!  You are headed down a rabbit hole.  Calm down before you do anything rash.

(And I think shorter cuffs will reduce your leverage and make your boots feel stiffer, not softer.)

Hand jig saw with a fine tooth blade. That's what I used to hack up some Flexons just to see how they were made.

When GMO did my boots and my sons boots .. Lange race .. his were plugs, there was stuff flying that they were just pulling off the back.

 

Zoom and boom, right in the trash and me .. I wanted to save it but they wouldn't let me .. "you won't need it let it go" .. eek.gif

 

They were right.

I have always used either a small pnuematic die grinder with a cut off wheel or a small pnuematic air saw with a fine tooth blade...  Both came from Grainger....

Best thing ever happened.  "Greg" is gone out west but the old Green Mountain Orthodics at Stratton was great.
