Has anyone tried any of High West's offerings?  I am trying to decide if its worth the price to take some home with me.

Well I took a gamble and bought a bottle of their Rendezvous Rye.  Once I try it I will report back.

It may be my first rye but it won't be my last.  It decidely spicier than most bourbons but very delicious all the same.

I had a fabulous cocktail with their vodka at the Porcupine when I was in Utah in March. I'm not a huge vodka fan, but it was really basic, made with ginger simple syrup, I believe, and maybe some lime? Unfortunately, being Utah, I finished it in three sips. Had to order another ... got kind of expensive....

I looked it up, and they sell the rye not too far from me. I'll give it a shot.

If you like rum, search for Montanya, made in Silverton CO.

A quick follow up...

The Rendezvous Rye is quickly becoming my preferred drink.  In fact I like enough that I decided to splurge for their 21 year old Rye.  It is hands down the most I have ever spent on a bottle of liquor so I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Pacifico beer to go with spicy hot bbq'ed ribs.

Am I posting in this thread too much?
