Is there is a way to slow down fall line turns without widening them?
Skiing a very narrow line works great in fresh, heavy spring snow. But skiing that line once the snow gets chopped up and lumpy is ... interesting. The lumps make it feel (to me) rather unsafe, even though it's doable.
Short radius turns are ugly and unpleasant in this lumpy chopped-up stuff, thus the question. How can you slow down the fall line turns without losing them?
