After losing about 10 expected days of skiing this winter, and skiing < 10 days, I'm still (probably foolishly) clinging to the hope that I'm going to get in one or two more days of skiing this year.
With 1 unexciting resort open in the entire state of PA, even with 3 shots at it (Fri/Sat/Sun) this week, I couldn't find anyone to watch the kids to make it happen.
So, I'm eying up VT still. Despite the exceptional weather in March, early April looks dicey. Even Stowe and Jay are currently forecasted to definitely get rain Mon/Tues and the following 10 days or so shapes up with additional calls for rain and higher temps in the high 40s and low 50s.
Are conditions going down the tubes? I'm new to the sport and have never skied VT, so I don't have a clear picture of how this upcoming weather is going to affect things.
Should I let go and focus on fishing?
