Disturbingly amazing drop in.

Great stuff!

Agreed, that entrance made me nervous just watching it.  Skiing looked great, nicely done!

The access itself is a legit entry point eh! Pretty serious, and the incline itself, impressive, not for old guy like me ..but enjoyed the visual

Damn sick run and perhaps an ever sicker access point!

Awesome!....and scary!

Impressive.

But question: in the steepest part, is this skiing? ..... or descending with skis on?

the steepest part being the rappel....no. that is rappelling. On snow, the part off rope, now thats what i call skiing! That is skiing in its most appropriatel sense of the word.

Nice turns, and thanks for sharin'!

I was thinking that they looked familiar but was not 100% sure to say anything.I am sure there will be plenty of the whole line around this year.BTW,absolutely awesome video, all around, repelling and skiing.   Cheers!

I'm pretty sure that I won't be skiing anything that I have to repel to get to.  But then, 8 years ago I said I'd never ski the Gorge at my home hill in Michigan, but now I'm skiing stuff much more difficult so ...........who knows, eh?

Nice work!

We are heading there this spring. What time of year did you do it? Snow looked perfect. How big was the rap? What size ropes did you use? Any other useful information. Thanks so much!

Old thread...

My spectator's view is that anything on the N Face of Augille du Midi is a true no-fall terrain:, if you fall, you are very likely to die.

For the Chamonix info, PM idris. :-)
