Read the stats kids.....taking into account road rules, stop lights, seat belts, air bags, the fact you sit inside a steel cage when you drive, etc etc etc....yuo are still 5 times more likely to be serously injured from driving then skiing.
Both stats are done on a "per million trips basis", hence the fact you may drive more often then ski is factored out.
I know the stone cold reality of you have been suckered into nothing a but a fear mongering campaign is hard to acknowledge...but that is in fact, what has happened.
Yeah, but how far is a trip?
What is it on a per mile basis? How about a per hour basis?
After millions of miles in cars, no injuries (yet, hope I didn't jinx myself).
And I used to drive faster than I skied.
Far less skiing miles, several injuries.
I guess most folks are much better drivers than skiers.
I'm just glad most of the drivers I see aren't on the hill
