unfortunately cypress mtn closed april 25th....that said, however, blackcomb was STUNNINGLY gorgeous yesterday: blueskies, snowcapped mts as far as the eye could see...you truly need a panoramic video to capture this jaw dropping scenery...individual pics don't do it justice.

^ icon14.gif icon14.gif.  Spectacular vistas!

Do they get many days like that at Castle Mountain?  We have not had 4 consecutive days of sunshine since early November.

Wandering around Frisco one evening earlier this spring I looked up and was blown away by this amazing sunset! Couple minutes later it was over. This iPhone pic kinda did it justice!

Couple weeks ago walking the dog with my girlfriend on Peak 9 at Breckenridge we were entertained by dudes busting moves (with the help of a couple snowmobiles),,,

Here's a fun one, not a great photograph, but it's of Grouse Mountain overlooking Vancouver taken from my living room window.  It's 55 miles of driving distance to Van, and Grouse is on the other side.  I'd guess 45 miles as the crow flies.

Here is one I took on Christmas eve of Canaan Valley in West Virginia.  This was taken from the Canaan Valley resort lodge, which is across the main road from the ski area.

I had totally forgotten about this thread. I've got a few nice ones in the first month of the season, all taken with a HTC phone:

New Years eve, with 6 or 7 kms to go to get to the mountain station, all in the alpine. Magical afternoon!

Dislocated my shoulder in a place I was told by ski patrol is called Ullr Bowl

This guy actually waited there until Patrol came.

Our shop owner is in Verbier enjoying snow that has managed to elude most of us in North America this year.  Here's a screenshot from a movie clip he emailed us yesterday.
