Does anyone have experience with these two skis?
What are their similarities and differences?
I am 5'9" 145 lbs and looking at these in a 178.

Thanks for your input.

I ski at Squaw, about 50 days per season. I might consider myself advanced but not an expert. I do not have any experience in the parks unless my 7 y/o makes me go with him. Love to be in the trees and just starting to jump off small stuff (4-8 ft) with comfort. I was interested in either of these for floating in steep powder, off piste and trees. Because me and a buddy ski with our wives, I was looking for something that would carve well on piste while we all ski back to the lift. It only takes a few runs for sqauw to get scarred up on a powder day and thought the tight turning radius would be fun in the bumps too.

Thanks for your feedback

S7s without question....best powder skis on the market.  They hold very nicely oin groomers as well.

I am not doubting how great either ski is. I have read the threads on both these skis. It seems that they both have tight TR's, camber under foot and tip/tail rise. What I would love to know is how they are similar and different and how that translates on the snow in different conditions and terrain.

keeper is much stiffer, much less rocker: run and rise. S7, if regular 2010 (non super7) production is a noodle.

Thank you Finndog. Do you think the S7 would be a noodle for someone who is 145 lbs? When you say the Keepers are much stiffer is that because of the smaller rise/run than the S7? Would the Keepers be too stiff for a guy my size. Does stiffer means I would need to put more effort into skiing the Keepers or they are more stable than the S7?

a lot here......  I don't know how you ski or what your preferences are. The s7 is fine for most skiers and at 145 I would guess it would be OK for you. What size?  This is a clear case for a demo. You need to figure out what you like in a ski.  The Keeper is stiffer due to the construction.
