Don't laugh, but my fiance has a chance to buy a pair of s110w's this morning in the same length as the s7 he demoed for a LOT cheaper, and he actually likes the sexy girl (since it has a black background. He wouldn't touch the pink ones from next year, I promise). The people at the Rossi demo center are saying it is the identical ski in that length. No chance in stiffness or anything. Can anyone substantiate this?
s110w same stiffness as s7? Possible purchase this morning!
I guess I should have spelled out that of course it is the 178 s100w, not the shorter ones that I realize are different skis. I supposed it is possible that I am engaged to a 4'9" tall adult man that would ski the 159's !
I could have sworn I posted this snark in another thread that consisted of "What is the best ski?" Odd...
Anyways, I could swear that when they released the S110W, they said that it was slightly more flexible, but I can't substantiate that from an internet search.
Any chance he can demo them? Whether or not they are different is an academic argument compared to whether they fit his actual ski needs.
I just like that you used the word "snark" in a sentence.
Thanks for looking, I couldn't find any info either. He has demoed the s7 a lot, and knows it is the ski he wants in the 188, but they are all long gone, even the demos. Turns out the shop was wrong, and it was a 178, not a 188, so it didn't work for him anyway. Now I know they don't even make the womens in a 188. That plus all the flowers we had forgotten were on it made it a deal breaker. Thanks again.
