I stopped into Recycled Sports a few days ago and saw these in the rack up front...
Price on the tag was $14.99! I inquired to make sure, and, indeed, $14.99! I looked em over pretty carefully,
and the edges were rusty but intact with plenty of material, the bases had no core shots, actually no
gouges at all, the tops pretty primo, sidewalls looked good, no cracks anywhere that I could see.
In short, pretty good shape. Thought about it, but didn't buy em.
Was in the area again today, dropped in, still there, had another close look, bought em. Gonna throw
some Railflex plates on and see how they ski. Figure they might work well in the bowls when there are
big piles of skied up powder.
They're pretty light, and as you can see from the pic they have quite a bit of splay. Here are
some specs I got with a tape measure (no dimensions other than 190 on ski itself) with Prophet
specs for comparison...
|Make / Model||Dynastar Big||Line Prophet 100|
|Year Made||1998 ??||2010|
|Turning Radius||??||17.2 meters|
|Actual Tip-Tail Length||188cm||177cm|

|Rear Rise Length||Flat||14cm|
|Front Rise Height||8.25cm||5cm|
|Rear Rise Height||Flat||5cm|

Anyone here know what year these are likely to be from?
Anyone ever had a pair/ski them?
