Shot from Whistler Blackcomb, BC, Canada where 75+cm fell over the duration of the week.
Cliff drop was shot from the nose of the peak's waterfall cliffs.

Wow awesome video!  Did you wipe out after the cliff?

Hahaha yep. Landed a bit backseat, double ejection, the whole thing lol. But I did a slightly smaller one to the left just prior to that and landed no problem.

Really nice. How do the shots from the pole look so steady?

Superb film.

One quick question, what have you got the camera perched on when you are filming yourself with the camera pointed back towards you, what is that contraption? It is very interesting and I presume the image stabilization keeps that "pole or whatever" the camera is on appear rock-steady?

Thanks! It is simply a normal ski pole with no mods. I use the handlebar/seatpost mount available from gopro to clamp it on there. This way its easy to switch between mounts each run.

Tremendous video.  Congrats on the huck, you've got bigger ones than I do.

The pole cam footage is really trippy.

How much does it throw you off balance skiing with one pole and shooting with the others? Not much by the look of it.

Hey thanks! The pole mount is good in the morning when you're not as tired. It is quite the effort to hold it chest level, but in the end its the shot that counts!

Whoah, you're from Barrie? I'm up in Coldwater lol. I'm gonna ski bum again next year, thinking of Whistler maybe. Did you just take a trip out or did you ski bum?

First time out west, and on a trip? It took me a couple weeks to get the balls to drop the 15-20 footers I did at KH. Isn't the waterfall 30'? I would definitely go to whistler, the only thing holding me back is that I might not be able to make enough coin this summer to fund living in whistler for 4 months.

There was over a meter of fresh that accumulated at the peak as it was closed for over a week. So there was no choice I had to do it!!! I know that if I chickened out I would be upset for not doing it. And yeah I would say its more like 35ft; thats what everyone was telling me. But I hear you man, whistler is pricey.

WE ARE HARE AT THE END OF APRIL AND EVERY DAY THERE HAS BEEN SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW. ALL THE RUNS ON BLACKCOMB ARE OPEN [WHISTLER CLOSED ON 4/26]. SPANKYS, AND COULOIR EXTREME ARE 2 FT POWDER. LOWER DOWN CONDITIONS ARE VARIABLE, DEPENDING ON TEMPS WITH FREEZING LEVELS RISING TO 2000 METERS THIS UPCOMING BLUEBIRD WEEKEND. I'D SAY COME ON DOWN BUT THERE ARE LIFT LINES OF A FEW MINUTES!!!

Thanks! I hope to improve on my videos by getting a handheld cam with zoom. It would be nice to get some footage other than POV.
