Need Help Picking a Ski

Thread Starter

Im looking for a pair of ski's that ride the back-woods, and bumps with ease, but are also able to cruise on the groomers.  I have been snowboarding for about 10 years now and just started transition back to ski's this past winter, splitting the winter 50-50.  After Demo-ing the K2 Apache 177s, Salomon Lords 177 and Rossignol s3 177-8? I cannot figure out which would be the best ski.  I do enjoy freestyle, spend a lot of time on the East Coast but also head out west 1-2 times per year.

Does anyone have either one of these ski's who could throw me a little more information than what I got from the one day I spent on each ski.  So far I'd have to say im leaning toward the Salomon n Rossignols over the Apaches.

Thanks

S3 own.  I would also check out the Line P90, but you may want the extra 8mm that S3 gives you.

In my opinion, I own K2 Apache's and have demoed the Lords. I only tried the lords on groomers on this small jib terrain park and I can easily say that the Apache's are a lot better I feel on that terrain if that helps.

I am interested to see if people had any one of these ski's and had more than one day experience on them.  Unfortunately my season has come to an end this year, so its now summer shopping.

Just looking for additive information.

Appreciate all the replies, thank you
