Need help finding an edge tuner...

Hi all!

I am just back from the slopes and I saw an edge tuner

someone used which I found very well made.

It looks like a regular angle plate, but had a hand screwed

knob that holds a round aluminium disk on which the

abrasive paper is glued.

You can just change the glued paper to replace the

edge stone.

Unfortunately, I did not get the manufacturer, and it

is supposed to be a brand new product.

Does it ring any bells?

Thanks.

What color?  and was it a clear plastic color?

Actually, the it was anodized aluminium with a chrome

type plate where it will slide on the ski base.

It was black and the round disk was red, also anodized aluminium...

Looled very nice build and quality

that is the best tool system I have seen in years.  all 3 grits of diamond and a little windex to keep lubricated and clean.

Looks pretty nice!  Certainly easier to use than my side edge guide.

It actually is pretty nice.

It is expensive though.

However, on the long run, the

diamond disks only cost 20$ to replace.

Also, I noticed that you have a better edge

if you rotate the disk slightly between edges.

Then I just brush under the tap to clean the

edge dust off and it becomes as new again!
