Blizzard The One vs. Nordica Enforcer

I am looking at replacing my 177 Mantras and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on Blizzard's The One and Nordica's Enforcer. I have had my Mantras for 5 years and finally delaminated them.  I tend to hit a lot of rocks, so maybe the Enforcer would be better because of the construction.  I ski primarily in the east (Jay, Burke, etc.)  I am open to other suggestions too.

I love the Mantras but I think it is time for a slight change.

I have a pair of AC 50s for groomer days, so these skis would be mostly for new snow and the woods.

Thanks

The one is a great tree ski. It is a sidewall so it can be repaired if you blow out an edge.

Know little about the enforcer other than its reputation is more of a charger, so probably not the best for trees.

well what do you like better flamigos or pizza?  thats about how similar they are.....

really both could work, IMO "the one" could work much better and hold a great edge even going moderately fast. The Enforcer is much more of high speed charger and crud buster, and is actually close to your mantras.

I actually skied these 2 back to back at a demo day last year.  BWPA is right on all counts.  Very different skis.  The One is, IMO, quite a bit better for your stated purpose of new snow and trees.  The Enforcer is much closer in feel to the mantra (although I like the Enforcer better, but that's just my opinion).

You say it's time for a slight change.  Why?  Just for the sake of change, or because you want the new skis to do something differently or better than the mantra?

I think I would like something that is a bit softer and more agile in the woods. If I only had one pair of skis I would probably go with the enforcer. The mantras get a bit heavy in the bumps, which can be a good thing if you are at a mtn with a lot of traffic or snowboarders.

Will the construction of the ones hold up to hitting rocks? I tend t have good reflexes in regard to hurting the edges, but I tend to get down to the titanium plates in the mantras about twice a season.
