Trying not to buy new skis - end of season prices so tempting

I picked up some of my favorite bindings (Look px12) with a nice wide brake on clearance and now need a clearance ski to mount em on. Blizzard The One is calling to me now that it has dropped just below $400 but my wife would really not be happy.

But assuming I did anyway do I go for the 177 or 184? (5'10, 210#) rolleyes.gif

I would think 184 at your weight.  All of the reviews I've read say they ski short anyway.

+1 for 184, just given your weight.

^^^^ What they said. I like the 177, and I weigh 165 lbs.

DGood call on the 184.  This is the time to buy new skis for sure.  Picked up some 10/11 4FRNT MSPs for $300.

I was tempted by those as well. That was quite a fire sale they had on 4frnt stuff. But it was only later when I found the bindings I was looking for at the price point I wanted that the urge to go for the skis kicked in.
