My wife has an old pair of Dalbello boots (700 TX circa 1998) that she won't part with due to the great fit. The sole plates (in partcular the heels and less so the toes) are worn almost to the shells. Is there any chance you all know where I can find some replacements? Bigger question, is there any danger in continuing to use these boots (assuming I can get heel/toe plates)? She only gets out two-three per seasons on them.

best to hunt ebay for the same boot, and hope to find a used on in better shape.
then buy her cat tracks, and new intuition liners (odds are the liners are packed out too)
but for all that, might be worth LOOKing at some new boots. They have gotten a lot better in 20 years.
