Good lip goop?

Just got back from 12 straight days at Vail. Legs came back strong. Lips came back kind of like hamburg. I used a Burts Bees product every day on them, but they still got cracked and raw. If the stars align, I'll be heading back to Co in two weeks for the Gathering. and would like to come back to Maine with my lips intact, so to speak.

Thanks

David

The best stuff I have used is by Neutrogena. Goes on smooth stays on and protects as well as heals. Wear it all day and before you go to bed, in the morning the dead old skin will come off and you will have brand new lips.

Burts' Bees, Medicated Lip Balm.

My Wife turned me on to this stuff, it now has a permanent place in the backpack right by the Cat Crap.

Dermatone while on the hill, the stuff in with the white cap tin w/ "Z-Cote" works best. Carmex for the lip repairs

Next to your Cat Crap should be Chicken Poop

For healing: Aquaphor

For prevention: I'm a believer in Labiosan, which is a German-made, zinc-and-menthol ointment that works wonders in high alpine terrain.  The only thing that's off-putting for most is its sickly pink hue.  Otherwise, Burt's Bees Lifeguard's Choice is a winner for me, as are the Blistex and Vaseline liquid-based balms.

Don't laugh but ... this stuff is gold.  I've used Burt's Bees - hate the waxy feeling.  I love Fresh Sugar but I'm going to guess that 1) it's a bit too girly for you; and 2) $20 is a bit ridiculous to pay.  The Badger Balm lip balms were like $2.50 at my local store - I ended up grabbing 8-10 to stick in various purses and jacket pockets.  I recommend the tangerine :)
