For a while I was taking an opiate, plus an antihistamine (to prevent itching) and using the orthotics that I made for myself.
Now I'm off the pills, haven't used my orthotics all season (24 days so far), and the only time the neuroma bothers me is when I use leverage to get my ski boot off at the end of the day. And sometimes when I'm walking back to my car, afterwards.
I attribute this improvement to the anti-inflammatory diet I embraced in October 2008.
