I have recently purchased the Salomon CS Pro Falcons (2011 - Orange and Black). I initially purchased the Technica Dragonslayers but found them to be wider than the 100mm last that was adveretised. The CS Pro's as you know allowed me to get a custom last in minutes - and in my opinion, it is a superior boot over the Dragon Slayers. However, I did have a question...
My bootfitter did heat the shells in the oven to create the custom last, but after that process, nothing was done to heat up my liner. I thought the liner in this boot was intended to be heated up seperately in additon to the shell...or will placing the liner back into the shell after coming out of the oven pick up enough residual heat from the shell to mold itself to my foot?
If the boot liner is supposed to be heated after the shell has been formed, does anyone know the best way to do it so I can communicate that to my bootfitter?
Thank you so much in advance - I look forward to any feedback!
