I usually book a cheaper regular car and a 4wd and go with the conditions. Conditions definitely looking favorable.

Very nice timing.

I've got a 6 am flight out there tomorrow, landing around 10:15 (conx thru ORD) - pretty stoked.  Someone's driving us up to DV but no matter what the transportation, it should be good!

Just looked at NWS forecast. calling for 2-4 feet of snow from Monday-Tuesday.Probably will be issues getting into LCC that day.

Steve you are out there next week? You lucky dog I am not there til the following week.

Unfortunately, no. Would love to be there for the storm early next week. Looks epic. Don't get there until Saturday the 12th. However long range forecast still looking good. So, not crying too hard.

Real worst case we don't get to ski. probable worst case I have the superpass so we can head to solitude.

good thing I listened to the travel agent and reserved a 4wd.  Board is waxed, gear is packed, can't wait to be there.  Looks like I got lucky on our timing as our group of 3 will be arriving on Wed.  Will be riding Powder Mountain and Snowbasin.

Arrive tomorrow afternoon, and my new Atomic Access got mounted up today, and will meet their colleagues the ObSETHed's and the MR's in SLC tomorrow afternoon. Yippee.

I usually do Snowbird, The Crayons and Snowbasin. Reserved my SUV earlier i the week when I saw the forecast. FINALLY - looks I hit a week just right!

20-30 inches sunday-tuesday.

Just got back yesterday!  We got some fresh snow while we were there, so I really can't complain.

It took about 2.5 hours to make it down LCC today. They had traffic stopped for so long that I turned of the car for a few stretches.

I also learned why the Chevy Traverse is so popular in rental fleets. It blows.

^^^

It's better to wait in the bar till 7pm on days like that.

I'm flying out tomorrow morning - would I need a 4wd for the remainder of the week through the weekend? It looks like nothing major for the rest of the week - can't complain though. VT has been dicey lately.

Highly unlikely.
