"You ski so beautifully in that passe style."
Comment of a British ski instructer after "culling" run.
I no longer ski that way but will always cherish that comment.

PS: Ya, I know it was not in a movie, but it should be.

I'm paraphrasing because I don't remember the exact words, but last week on the CBC telecast of the women's downhill, Todd Brooker made this comment regarding Lindsey Vonn's constant whining.

"She needs to shut up and let her skis do the talking."

"Hey, you're a professional skier?!?  I'm so much better than you!"

My sig line. It was originally used in the 70's as a put down to free doggers. Turns out to be a good way to improve edging and balance skills.

The classic and good Warren Miller ones:

"You can't get hurt skiing. Unless you fall."

Kids today, all they talk about is big air.  I say, stay on the mountain, that's where the action is.  If you want big air, pull my finger.  ~Smooth Johnson

Ski tip from Stu Campbell (I can't remember who he was talking to) - "I want you to be more.... promiscuous. I know you loved that turn, but you might love the next one just as much".
