Salomon Shogun...are they just short?

Recently, I purchased a pair of 173cm Salomon Shoguns. I am 5'9" and 150lbs.. They seem a little short up against my tele skis, a pair of 174cm K2 Coombacks. When I put them up next to a pair of 169cm Salomon Lords, the skis looked almost identical in length. Anyone else with this perspective? Thanks.

K2's run long for starters.

For what it's worth, Measured the K2's with a centimeter tape and they measured true to length.  The Salomon Lords also measured true to length, but the Shoguns measured 169.5cm.  Probably not worth worrying about...they're great skis regardless of length.

Oh.  Both my Public Enemies and my Fujatives were 1-2cm longer than stated.

Curious what a guy like me should look for in a Shogun...

5'8" ~170#

Ski mostly steep, trees, off piste.  If it's hard, I don't really WANT to be on it.  If it fresh groomed cord - RIPPING down can be a blast for a couple runs.

173?

182?

I currently ski 172 Head Monster 82s
