Here the start of a trip report that will grow when the rest of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen return from the rest of their "epic" journey. They are in possession of most of the vast collection of rich media recorded over the weekend. Please add photos and videos everybody.
I woke up at 5am to head North
Started getting excited when I starting seeing some snow on the ground around Whitetail
I arrived at 12:30 pm to better than average Blue Knob conditions.
Good rock hard coverage pretty much everywhere.
The usual cast of manly men was refined by a coupe of ladies, DSloan, and T-Rod's niece Zoe
Obligatory tips over the crest of Stemboggan Bowl
John L and Vince. Vince really upped his game this season
Extrovert was cold, hard, and a little hostile Saturday. We did ski it several times just to tempt fate.
Old Boot taking a nap
Dinner was exquisite
Hanging out in our chalet
Old Boot, Vince, Charlie, and I weny out after dinner for some high speed GS ice cruising. Vince closed the joint down.
Please add more Saturday photos folks.
Sunday was much warmer and real hero snow...
For those that keep asking... Twas I "Who Let the Dogs Out"
We found a cheaper place to stay next year:
Discussing who pays what and who's bringing what..
And who gets what bunk..
More of the gang
Extrovert was much tastier.. Sorry, LHC and I were too busy shredding it to stop and take photos. But we did stop to rest hahaha.
Made the mistake of going home via 270 and 495 around DC This happens every time.
Back home safe and a little sore. We won't talk about the incident that occurred in front of all the park rats at the mid slope bar where all the park rats were hanging out after the Big Air competition
Other than that it was a great time. Thanks again to JamesJ for MC-ing and props to all the skiers/great friends. Love you guyzzz!
P.S. I am delighted to report following post trip inspection ZERO base damage over the weekend. No P-tex required
