Hey guys,

I've been adding and adding to my Extreme Ski and Slopestyle website, www.ExtremeSki.org. Please take a look at it and let me know what you'd add to make it better. I am trying to make this one of the best Skiing websites ever. Thanks,

Abe

Abe you can never have to many ski sites on the Net. You left out 2 of the most important Jargon names. Gaper has to be #1 and BEATER is right up there. Widgets are great for info and Marion is a little ripper. Anyway, I've bookmarked your site to visit again. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks for the input... going to add Gaper and Beater to the web.... Anyone have good definitions of both? Let me know and I appreciate your help with this project.

I like the layout and the design. But if I'm being totally honest, I'd never visit a site called "ExtremeSki". No one who actually skis uses "extreme", so it just makes your site sound out-of-touch--like some kind of 1995 marketing suit trying to make a site about skiing. Yeah, we'll call it "extreme," that'll bring the crowds.

Maybe you have a greater strategy, but I think if you want people that really live and breathe skiing to visit, you should consider a different name. The ".org" isn't really helping things either. You're not an organization, so not only are you "ExtremeSki," but now you look like the #2 "ExtremeSki" site, because whether it's true or not, I get the idea that you chose "org" because ".com" was already taken.

umm well in your jargon. I would add case to it.

Bail doesn't really mean to fall. It can but it usually refers to aborting/ not doing something. If a fall is involved it's usually intentional and done to avoid injury

Edit: also hucking usually refers to dropping something like a cliff and is different than doing a jump

Yeah, that's another good point. If you're going to give definitions, they had better be accurate.
