original Krypton Cross- need to move the center buckle

I just sourced and installed Full Tilt Intuition liners into my Kryps.

Mine are the ones with the reversed center buckle. With the buckle screwed all the way in, I still could use a slightly tighter center buckle.

There doesn't appear to be any other adjustment available other than turning the buckle itself. I removed the screw looking for another hole but... nothing

Any advice is appreciated.

I think you can order shorter cables from a dalbello dealer.  or add some more foam on the liner tongue.

but if you need the buckle that tight to get your heel down, the boots might be too big, (or you have  a foot shaped like a pencil)

maybe add a thicker footbed? or thicker socks?

there are two positions for the cable, look at where the end that is connected to the shell is connected, there are two 'loops' for it to go around, it would be in the looser setting stock. Just move it to make it dramatically tighter.

thanks Whiteroom,  I just assumed that the boots only had one option for cable placement
