Salomon Customer Service Help, Anyone?

So I've run into a little bit of a bind here and I guess I'm not "expecting" any help, but certainly would welcome some.  I have a pair of Salomon boots, model to be unnamed, and am having issues with them that are clearly related to the quality of the boot.  The ski hill that I ski patrol at has graciously called Salomon and set up a warranty return.

My problem; when they set the return up, they were told that Salomon didn't have a boot in stock to replace mine, so I'll be without boots until they get boots in stock which probably isn't until next season.  So I'm without boots for a few weeks, which sucks.

Can anyone help?  Maybe somebody knows somebody down at solly?  Maybe someone has a suggestion?  I guess I might have to front some money for new boots then sell the new salomons when my "replacements" come in?

If it helps at all, I am an Alpine NSP member and teach some on the side.  Feel like I do "good" in general for our sport.

PM or reply with any suggestions you might have.

Can you squeak through till the end of the season to send in your warrentied boots?  I cracked my shells on some X Wave 10's and Salomon was very good about replacing them at the end of the season.  Maybe if you called, they would upgrade your boots to something in stock, for a nominal fee?

Bumping this because Salomon came through in a huge way.  They are sending me a boot that's a step up from mine that is, in fact, not even on the market yet.  So new, better, boots coming from Solly.

Many thumbs up to them, I will remain a faithful customer.

Had a set of Salomon Sentinel in 191 bought for me as a gift, used them for only two weeks, one of the skis delamintaed under foot. Contacted Salomon UK customer services who, because of me not being able to produce a reciept, are not willing to help in any way. I find it unbelievable that a company such as Salomon is not willing to stand by their products.
