Orthotics insoles

Thread Starter

I am looking to replace insoles in my Lange Banshee boots. My benefits cover custom prescription orthotics, so I would love to take advantage of that. Would regular orthotics insoles be good for my ski boots? Should I ask for a specific type of orthotics insoles?

best to talk to your bootfitter and/or the person making the footbeds.   Also depends on how your boots fit you (too big, small, wide, etc)

IS this orthotic just for the ski boots, or for other footwear?   ski boot ones usually need to be thinner, shorter.   A walking/running one is made for a much larger range of motion, and for a heel strike and toe off (walking/running gait) while a ski one is only for a 20ish ROM.
