can someone tell me what kind of skis these are?

 there considered fire wood these were dynastars early slight shaped carving skis about 9yrs old

oh jeez firewood?! that's too bad. i guess it's a good thing i only got them for $40 off of ebay then! :p

They are the kind that is great to decorate a wall or to make lawn furniture.

They look like the Max Plate 9 from 2001.  According to expertskier.com they were advanced to expert groomed run carver, and not a bad ski (for more info look them up on the site).  Ski them and see if you like them.  They are every bit as good today as they were in 2001.

Well, it's probably fairer to say that the Max Plate 9 looks a little bit like those, in the way grandkids take after granddad.

 

The Max Plate 9 had a newer,  different tip with a plastic anti-delam blob on it, a very obvious "9" on the tails, and quite a lot more torsional stiffness and general beef than its older "Max" predecessors.       The Plate 9 sure needed all that work - the original Maxes were _miserable_ for anyone except lightweights on very soft snow.

The sally bindings may be worth something. Are they metal?

 

The all metal sallies with the higher din (>12) can sell for $50-$75. They are not indemnified, but they are nigh unbreakable so people still want them.
