Me: 6'3" 250, Salomon Impact 8 boots 28 mondopoint (while I don't recall this, its what is printed on the sole), 2007 mythic riders. I usually wear 11.5 shoes. I chose these boots after doing shellfits with the fitter and walking around in 4 or 5 different boots in the store. So far, I've only worn a smartwool ski socks. Toenails clipped :)
I've ridden about 10 days on these boots. I had some pain early on, but recently they've started to feel great. However, yesterday I had a problem which I had not encountered before- my feet were going numb riding up the lift. I have them pretty snug in the cuff and strap, looser on the bottom two buckles. Once my feet/skis were hanging, it felt like my circulation was getting cut off- I could feel my toes get tingly then start to intensely hurt. Once I got off the lift and stood on my feet, I could feel circulation returning and my toes start to wake up; they felt normal again in about a minute.
Any ideas about what I could do to combat this (besides only riding lifts where the bar has a footrest)?
Thanks in advance for any ideas or feedback
