I just mounted some full flex Neox bindings on my new EP pros. It worked out good I think. I skied them today in above zero foot of wet heavy snow!! Not the ideal conditions for these skis but they did pretty well consindering. When wet snow builds up on these skis at 127 underfoot and 150,s tip and tail it like lifting a sheet plywood with snow on it with your legs!! Good workout though:]
I took some pics of the setup. I had to make some 130mm brakes for them other than that its all good. Im hopeing to ski some lighter snow like when I demoed the pair I tried before i bought these to compare the bindings feel in Powder compared to the Jets the loaners had. There was two reasons I put this binding on. First one was to save money because I had this binding just sitting there. The second was the plate is sorta long. The plate extends further back than most two piece setups. I do believe this made the tails a little stiffer flexing? Cant say for sure? Like I said I need to try them in dryer snow to compare yet. I dont ski switch. Well land switch very often. I do ski backward and that seemed good. Hers some pics I took tonight as I doing some boot canting and mesureing of boot placment. I was on the line today. Im trying 1.5cm back from the line tomorrow.
