How about this ma (short turns)? - Page 6

Get instruction from l3 or l2 instructor in Taiwan is very easy and not epensive. We need only join the ski touring party. For example, I have a trip to japan on January. There are 1 CSIA l3 instructor and 2 CSIA l2 instructor in this trip. Each teach at most 8 skier. I have invited Norman join us. But he refused. And join other trip without instructor later.

WTF, Norman, you are just an advance beginner but you try to teach other people how to ski and developed your own ski system, this is crazy.

Dear TROLL:

Thank you that your point.

If they ask me, I will answer.

If they do not ask me, I will not answer.

They are free
people.

I am not a boring person.

What I said is you can get the instruction of l3 or l2 instructor is very easy and not expensive. If you join the trip that only have l1 instructor, It is not suitable for you.

And I know you know who instructor is l3 or l2.

Just returned from weekend skiing in Korea. I don't know which MA you refer to. Its true that I didn't put up vid for MA for quite a while. Nowadays there are not much resource for learning. I restrict my skiing to fun skiing only.smile.gif

I said I like to share my Experienceand methods and I am not a instructor.redface.gif

Most of the time if someone post video. I usually will give some my point and who to fix it.

So I think that is not really teaching.

Ok, returnto the topic

Based on my way and think.

I like thetraditional method to Modern methods. Itcan make clearly what fundamentals for skiing.

1nd. Nature Stand position is very important. (usually beginners to Intermediate or more high level have the problem)

2nd. How to use up and down on Nature Stand position is first.

3nd. How to use up and down on Nature Stand position at pressure into outside ski to edge to edge by turning.

4nd. Clear What is pivot legs. Pivot legs can make turning.

5nd. How to make up upper body to balance on all turning.

6nd. How to make up good pole plant timing.

7nd. How to use good rhythm timingto turning for comfort on slope.

8nd. How to make up upper body force to support lower body to make up more power by turning.

Probably……

I can instructionthat way on snow. But because I can create the practice 1nd to 6nd in indoor. When have not snow days.

Use rolls skate to practice 8nd.

Something we can’t use word to explained action. We need to use body practice than to know what.

So they like practice on snow and by teaching, but don’t believe I can practice indoor.

Ok, Off-topic.

In Taiwan.

Here have many CSIA instructor and some JIS(sorry I am not sure it but it is Japan system), but I’d like European style skiing. like Similar PSIA style. I don’t like Japan style.

Anyway I also like this skiing style in video.I hope have fun enjoy for you.smile.gif

Norman, your list is good. I think that you know stuff (in theory) more than you are credited for. That has to do with the way you come through with your opinions in the HK-forums Im guessing. One thing that you need to be very careful with is giving negative critique to other skiers. Something that is valued very highly by PSIA and naturally on this forum as well is the skill of giving constructive feedback. This is the reason you are getting positive feedback here at epic. Its not cheerleeding, its a cultural thing.

Cool skiing in the linked video. Whish I could ski liket that.....
