Im on Mens Atomic Hawx 110 08/09. 4 Seasons in them now - 6 days a week. Replaced liners once.
I was wanting to know what the forward lean on the boot is and whether it was considered alot or not? I also have the same question about the Ramp angle?
Im currently in the process of changing my ski stance alot, from being consistantly heavy on the front of the boots throughout the turn, to a more upright ancle at full extension with a better ROM. Im aiming fullforce at the CSIA 3 this season.
Iv taken out the height adjuster shim at the back recently which has helped me keep a more natural ancle flex and feels good. Iv also blindly reduced the ramp angle by laying cardboard under the toes as an experiment - although Im not sure how I feel about it!
Lastly, Ive read alot of reviews about the 'flexzone' tech in this boot but none from recently. Is it really worth it for someone like me over a traditional boot???(I should probably go see a bootfitter for that question...)
If you need to know Im 5'9'' , 140lbs. Aggressive skier.
