I am trying to keep my dynastar atv's alive till the end of season. I busted my binding but found a pair of salomon 900 S equipes to replace. While centering the bindings for mount I noticed that the binding only provides about 27mm clearance for the heel piece when clicked down. The heel piece on my boot is 30mm. Is this normal and can a ride these if the bindings are not fully in the down position. I thought about looking for a lower profile heel plate or grinding mine down. What is the right course here? Thanks.
