Dobermann WC150 cuff markings

My Dobermann WC150 have dotted cut lines at the top of and either side of the of the upper cuff.

Having succesfully softened the boot but cutting the dotted lines on the shoe segement can any one tell me what the purpose of these upper cut outs is and what if any affect they would have on the boots feel

makes the cuff lower, and the boot softer.

Many thanks for your reply,

roughly by how much do you think this would soften the boot compared to cutting back to the dotted lines in the shoe ?

about the same,  10-20% softer still

Thanks Dave

Really appreciate your time am going to give it a try

so you have removed the rear rivets?  and lowered both the cuffs to make the boot softer?   that should take it to 100ish flex.

No I have left the rivets in place as the boot did not feel right with them out I just trimmed the shoe down to the dotted lines and will now do the same to the cuff, as I have a spare cuff it is worth a try as it can be replaced if I don'tlike the result.

sounds good.   lower the cuff 5mm at a time, and then ski it.
