Which toe warmers are you using? I cannot get toe warmers to work at all. The ones I've tried ultimately need air/oxygen to stay activated and radiating heat. But the boot essentially chokes that out and the warmers end up not working after a short period of time. I've tried inside the liner and between the liner/shell. No workie.
I like the boot, I really do. But the liner is pretty crappy compared to others, and not terribly warm. But I do know that circulation is a problem for me, so it's not entirely the fault of the boot. I just need something warmer and probably another heating/vacuum session for the boot to really settle in.
However, my buddy has a pair of Langes that are considerably cheaper than the Vacuum boot (and the Lange is also on sale now for end of season and a REALLY good deal), and the liner in the Lange is so much better. As much as the Vacuum boot has really cool technology, I find myself questioning the investment/return. FAR less money on a Lange, that comes with a better liner.......and some custom work by the bootfitter......I wonder if that would have been just as good as the Vacuum but far less costly. I would have loved to try the Lange boots just for one day to compare. I really wish there were a good way to demo a boot before purchase. SIGH.
