Can a floor standing boot dryer damage the foot bed or liner.

I did a search and couldn't find anything.  I'm considering getting a boot dryer like the dry guy wide body or the peet advantage.  Both of these types dry the boots upside down with the boot wresting on the air tubes.  I'm wondering if that can damage the foot bed or liner for say a one to two hours of dry time.  And will moisture escape easily enough.  Does anyone have this type of dryer and do you like it?

I'm also considering getting the small Hot Tronic Snap dry, but the floor units seem to have their advantages, such as two pair at a time,   I'm done with the cheapo boot dryers that fail after 3 to 4 uses.

BTW, I have an aftermarket foot bed, but it's not the custom molded type.

Was warned off floor boot driers for Intuitions, doubt they would make much impact on a footbed or standard liners.

my concern is the weight of the boot is on the foot bed.  Granted, I weigh much more then the boot and will be in it more hours then it will be on the dryer

Shouldn't be an issue, but if you are worried just take the footbed out of the boot.

I made my own dryers for about $10. No heat involved, just small fans blowing air through flexible hose into the boot.

Heat really isn't necessary, just the circulation of air.

Oh - and it seems putting the boot upside down would limit the amount of air circulation.
