Need a different boot board

Hello Experts-

SO, I screwed up...  I bought a boot that felt great in the store, but once I skied it, the boot is too big.  I know I did wrong, and I admit it.

It's a 28.5 Head Vector 100.

Is there a place/person that I can buy a 28.0 boot board for a Head Vector 100?  (I think I can just put the 28.0 boot board in the boot to raise my foot and make it tighter)

Any ideas, comments?

Any of you guys a Head ski boot distributor?

Thanks!

a bootboard is a bootboard.... they are just like the phantom shell size difference.

that means that a 28 and 28.5 are not only the same shell, but they also use the same bootboard.

i think what you are referring to is the stock insole. in the case of stock insoles most companies do not make different thickness insole for 28 and 28.5. head might, but it does not matter.

when you buy the wrong size boot, a thicker insole will not bring you much help. it would be like peeing in the ocean.

man up and go see a real boot fitter in a real shop with a large selection of brands and models. get measured, get shell sized, then buy a new boot, with some form of underfoot support(trim to fit or custom) that is the only way to avoid the last mistake that you made.

Jim:

You always have the best analogies, but in this case I disagree.  I have always found peeing in the ocean to be very helpful and most enjoyable.

Thanks Homies.

For now I've added 'shims' under the footbed inside the liner.  I've got two different sized feet (almost one full size difference).  5 shims under the right footbed, 2 under the left foot.

First day next season I'm going to Surefoot.....
