Ski Off Challenge!

Thread Starter

Yes, I mean YOU!

I've had it with all the posing around here.  It seems like everyone's an expert and better than everyone else.  Since that can't be the case and I'm clearly the best skier on Epic, including Chaos, I challenge everyone/anyone to a ski off to prove it.

Here's the deal:  I'll meet you at any resort in the Rockies, the Sierras, or the Alps, wherever you choose.  We'll ski it off and the loser buys lunch.

In order to take advantage of this all you need to do is arrange/pay for my transportation, lodging, meals, and lift tickets.  I'll take care of the rest.

Come on, are there any skiers out there who have guts and want to test themselves against the best?  Here's your opportunity!

I'm completely serious.

What's the difference between a dead snake in the road and a dead trombone player?

The snake was probably on the way to a gig.

I’m going to put a stop to this madness Posaune...with a staring contest.

Online invitations to fights are pretty common on internet forums. Usually, a couple of guys in their twenties or thirties start arguing over NFL calls or something and they eventually agree to meet each other in the parking outside of a local 7-11. I wonder if anyone ever really showed up to one of those.

Anyways, if someone actually does happen to follow through with a ski-off challenge, I hope they have the courtesy to at least bring a video camera so it can all be filmed for our entertainment and viewing pleasure. It could probably be made into a sticky. I bet that Epic management could probably even add it to their premium content and a lot of people would pay to see it. I know I would. I have never seen a ski-off before and I wonder what people do during one.

Rent, download, Netflix, or buy the movie "Aspen Extreme". It will explain everything.

Thanks for your support Steve as I’m out to win this…but I need eye drops quickly as I’ve been told Posaune has very moist eyes!

UL…I’m wondering if this group would put together a collection and cover Posaune’s expenses.  Hell, we’ve got the people and multiple locations for a nice ski-off ski.gif

Heavens no!!  They're too low, it's cloudy, the snow's heavy, it rains, not enough vertical, no night life, slow lifts, and too many snowboarders.

Just stared at your picture for 30 seconds Don - kind of a powerful experience actually, maybe you felt my vibes.

Yes I did and happy for it!  A fine example of how this forum can be all about the love.

We need to crush the “hate’n” around here.  Hear that all you haterens.

And yes, I have yet to blink!

(update...I may have slightly closed one eye...as of this edit)

No, all Cascade areas share most of these traits, it's just more so at Baker.  It's a dump.  Stay away.

Oh, and Don, I just can't keep my eyes off of you.popcorn.gif

NO!  Bring it back.  I haven't yet found my Sugar Daddy, or I mean, someone man enough to take up my challenge.

+1

No drifting off this thread please!  Someone man/woman* up and take Posuane’s challenge.

I'm going to talk to Betsy about this...for that matter...segbrown, tsavo, Bklyn, COSkiGirl, Klkaye and nolo.  They could all open a can of downhill whoopass.

I see they're already pointing at Posaune:
