I'm fairly new to skiing and am trying to get appropriate equipment. My first issue was finding boots small enough. I have ordered some boots in a size 21.5, 260mm BSL (Tecnica Diablo 90 junior race boot -- it does have an adult sole). So I think I've solved my boot dilemna, however, I read somewhere that not all integrated bindings will accommodate a boot that small. I bought my skis and former boots at the same time (boots were size 23 -- way too big). So now I want to make sure the boots in the right size can go with the skis I already have. The skis are Head Fine Thang with Sure Thang RF 9 Speedrail bindings. I believe they are the 2008 model.
Does anyone know if these bindings will accommodate a 260mm boot? I've searched online and found some info on the newer head bindings which do in fact go this small but I wasn't sure if the older model is the same.
And a side question about the speedrail bindings. It looks like a simple system, is this something I can adjust myself or is it recommended to take it to a shop for a small boot size adjustment?
