So this a montage of some vids I shot last week.  At about 3:10-4:00 the camera is basically under snow on my chest mount....

Hope you enjoy.

Nice video!!
Terrain looks super sweet with well spaced trees. That's what I'm talking about!!

But questions:
I'm so used to seeing GoPro vids with music that I'm not sure what to make of the sound on yours. In the first minute or two the snow "sounds" a bit "salty" as it is pelting the camera. Then later it sure looks like it's raining and your skiing deep wet granular? It's deep and untracked alright, and if it's as wet as it looks, then that's some real good skiing in those conditions.

Am I seeing that right?

Were the trees on the backside of WH2O similar in spacing to these?

sounds are most likley the surface hoar we were experienceing which is a crystaline that forms in cold weather (also a bad binding surface) I did notice that the sound is a bit tinny as well.  one day we had some grapple at lower levels so that could be some of the sounds as well.

Trees- A lot of this was shot higher up so the trees were a bit thinner but as you got lower they got a lot tighter but not as tight as many shots at Steamboat for instance. The trees at Wh20 were about the same from a view at distance. I would say some spots were tighter but not dissimilar. They always look tighter on the outside!

No rain - that's great news. Those Bent Chetlers look like a great ski and liven up the video production a bit too. Great stoke man - Thanks! drool.gif

Thanks, I shot in 960, looks like it uploaded in 480, can it be viewed OK?

Yeah, it looks pretty good, but not HD, which it probably should be if you shot it in 960p. Not sure on the upload process myself since I don't yet have an HD cam, but you might want to try it again to upload in HD.
