Ski Shop BORKED my bindings.

So, I got 115mm bindings for my 113mm skis. I guess they still had to bend the binding brake to make them fit. I was looking at them just now and noticed this. fffffffuuuuuu.jpg

Is this going to be bad if I leave them this way or do I need to have them stick that clip where its supposed to be.

More photos just to show what happened.

No problem, they didn't put the brake on correctly, but it's so easy to fix, just do it yourself.

#3 cross point screwdriver. Undo the single screw just behind the brake ( it is NOT penetrating the ski, it merely mounts the brake).

Now lift up the rear of the brake assembly untill you can slot that little tab into it's correct slot (just like it's mate on the other side) and then push the rear back down and nip the screw up again.

A 30 second job. Ski tech was just being sloppy.

Ok, I got one in the right hole. Its amazing to me that I spent 55 dollars for a mount and it was done incorrectly on both skis mad.gif. Whatever they did when they bent the brakes also bent that little clip too far up so that it isnt fitting it its little hole. I am having to bend and warp it in order to fix it. Ski 2 is giving more trouble than ski1 bit I think I've got it solved.

This really makes an argument for doing everything yourself.

ya its pretty easy to mount your own bindings with the correct tools and the templates on tgr.
