Oh #2 counts as well?
Dunno, but I decided it did.
Great breakdown, mine is similar to yours but no pre-releases. Are you on Markers?
Thread drift ahead. One of my two present pairs has Markers, but I don't seem to pre-release on these more often than on other bindings on average. The particular pair of Markers I have now, on Blizzards, is also the most solid feeling binding I've ever owned, in terms of the precision of the connection with the ski. I credit the Blizzi interface for this.) My number of pre-releases was an average over the last five years or so, across several different binding brands. I pre-released the most on a set of Fischer-branded Tyrolias, and least often on a set of Look Pivot 12s. Markers and Salomons seem to be falling in the middle for me. It only happens about once a year or less. (10% of 5 -10 falls is less than one.) I figure I can live with that if it makes me feel more assured that they will release when they should. (And honestly, for many of us, not every "pre-release" we call a pre-release is really one. Just because I am standing up when the ski comes off does not necessarily mean it was a pre-release, if the consequences of the ski NOT coming off are not obviously benign. Not saying pre-releases don't exist. They definitely do, and I definitely have had some. Just saying that there is sometimes ego involved, when we don't want to admit that we did something bone-headed with our feet.)
