Dynastar Course 66 speed

Friend of mine needs to raise some dough for tax season and is offering me up a pair of ski'd 3 x Dynastar Course 66 speed 172's with Look Pivot 12 turntables bindings.

I figure the bindings alone are worth the $100 he wants for the set but know nothing about the skis.....looks like a GS ride to me?

Any comments on this ski?

I am 6' about 185 lbs and currently primarily riding i Supershape 170....these might be bought to back those up.

What year?  172 seems pretty short for a gs ski.

Those are really terrible skis for you.

Sell them to me.

waaay  to short for a GS ski

I think that's the shortest they came in.  Would be ok for a very light very short person wanting to make gs turns, but if you are skiing SS in 170, you probably want a longer ski fir GS.

At 170 those are women's skis.

Should be quite soft.

Perfect for most NASTAR or Masters for a light or older person.

Remember, real GS skis are made for real men who can squat several times their body weight.

Real folks can't bend them enough to make true arcs and go fast.

Yep further research reveals I would need 182 in that ski.

Thanks folks!
