Sun came out and we finally broke the cold wave. 35 degrees today and some nice conditions. Snowing now so it might be really good tomorrow.
Powder has been great this week too. Been there four out of five days, and it was riding soft and deep up until yesterday (the recent warm-up started to make things a little wet and heavy, though there was still good powder to be found). And that was with only a couple of three-inch storms earlier in the week.
It got another 4 inches last night, so should be good for another week again.
Thanks for those pictures! I'm flying over there Tuesday next week (25th) and those shots showed me that I'm really, really going.
Missed Snowbasin last time, so this time it's a definite. I hope the weather's clear, I seem to be there so often when it's misty and/or windy. I'd like to really explore properly.
I first skiied it in 98, when the toilets were in an Atco hut and the main lodge was a charming little wooden place. So was gob-smacked to visit it in 2007 and see what they'd done!
