I posted on here about 10 months ago to sort out one pair of ski's to buy (even tho I should probably get 2 pairs) but real life prohibited putting things in motion.
So now I'm back with a similar question - 6'2", would say advanced skier on piste, in powder needs a decent amount of work on technique tho.
I've narrowed my choice down to a Rossi Bandit SC-80/86 (because I can get them cheap-ish via a friend) or the Sultan 85. I like the sort of speedy carving skiing on piste (not racing speeds tho..), and thats probably where I'll spend 70% of my time. I do however want the option to go off-piste and do a bit of free-riding, hence a polyvalent ski.
The Bandit 86's were recommended by the friend at Rossi but a chap who seemed very much in the know suggested the 80's as the on piste performance would be better for skiing on piste at higher speeds. He did however say that Atomics would be much more suited but alas, no friends working over there! To make things even more difficult I think I'd prefer the Dynastars but same problem of no connections. Anyone out there that can give me some furthers insights?
