Pros: stylish, sleak, spherical lens, buckle strap, exchangable lenses, great customer service
Cons: expensive at full price
These are definitely the best goggles I have ever owned. The spherical lens not only helps with a better field of vision and glare, it makes the goggles very stylish. This goggle is loaded with features. They are very comfortable around the head. I have a smallish/medium sized face, but I think it would be comfortable around almost anyone's face. If you want to use your glasses under the goggles however, these goggles were not designed for that. Zeal does offer another model for glasses wearers. The polarized lenses are great for reducing glare. The lenses are double layered, so they provide better warmth and anti-fogging properties. The strap on these goggles have a buckle in the back which makes it really easy to take on and off. The buckle strap is a big plus for those that wear helmets. The goggles themselves also fit very nicely with my Marker M2 helmet. There aren't any noticable gaps between the top of the goggles and the helmet. Finally, the lenses are easily exchangable so you can buy multiple color lenses for different conditions. The goggles come with a Rose colored lense for normal day use. I also have a yellow lens for low-light/flat-light days and night use.
At retail price, these goggles can break the wallet a bit at over $120 each. But you do get what you pay for. If you get lucky, they can be found for an amazing price. They had a sale at one time for $50 per pair and included an extra lens color of your choice. The extra lenses themselves cost about $30. It might seem expensive at first, but think about what this means. The goggle frames are unlikely to become damaged, or the damage won't affect performance, so you can keep them for a long time. If you scratch your lenses, or just want different lenses for different conditions, you don't need to shell out a lot of money for a whole new pair of gogggles. You can just buy more lenses.
The company that makes these goggles are also a pleasure to deal with. They have customer satisfation at the top of their list. As I mentioned before, the lenses are dual layered. Something happened to my goggles and the seal between the two layers became compromised. This caused them to fog up in some situations. I called up Zeal and without any hassle, then sent me a new lens for free! I didn't even have to send back my defective ones.
In conclusion, the retail prices on these goggles may be a bit steep, but you get a lot out of them. If you can find them on sale, then it's a deal you don't want to miss out on.
