Pros: Full coverage snow making, inexpensive learn to ski deals, tube park right off lift for non-skiing family members, great uncrowded night skiing.
Cons: Crowded on weekends, lots of people in over their heads on crowded days.
This is my home area and the parking lot is literally visible from I-77 so you can get there usually even in "good ski" weather. It is very busy on weekends but during the week not so with little or no wait at the lifts and the night skiing is very good, well lit, and uncrowded with maybe the exception of Fridays when they typically have groups come in. Their beginners lift tickets are cheap and include rental and lesson. It is popular because of its convenience and beginner package so there are allot of folks on the blues and blacks in the wedge or straight lining stiff as a board, so vigilance is a good thing and I will often wait an extra minute or two for the slope to clear before starting a run. Princeton is nearby with plenty of places to eat or stay.
